On the list because I served as National Director of the Council for a Livable World, and organization which endorsed and supported liberal congressional candidates (of both parties) and worked with them and others to support legislation promoting arms control and disarmament and to oppose specific military programs. Notably, in 1969-70, led and coordinated efforts to defeat Nixon administration's Safeguard ABM system.
In 1972, then Executive Director of the Arms Control Association, advised McGovern presidential campaign on national security issues.
