Comment:	Holmes, a family friend, died Feb. 15, 2015, in Virginia, aged 100. He was successful at many things, not only with Continental Can (above) but PR for Ford Motor under McNamara, and American Airlines; co-founded Jobs Corps with Shriver; helped Scranton try to stop Goldwater in primary elections; president NY Board of Trade. He was energetic and apparently healthy until the end.

Comment:	In 1968, when he was public relations VP American Airlines, in NYC, he gave me the nicest assignment ever. He asked me to escort the two world stewardess queens to Super Bowl II in Miami for an entire week-end. That was 50 years ago; Holmes Brown was a distinguished man.
